Interview with Soledad
We have visited Centros Q, this business is located in the Madrid town of Valdemoro, in the small but lively commercial park, next to the facilities of a large and busy sports complex. We are welcomed by Soledad, one of the founders of this centre, an attractive and elegant Argentinian with a friendly smile and sparkling, motivating words, brimming with positive energy. What we can perceive in Soledad is what her employees and the centre itself transmit to us. As soon as we enter the centre, this message is written on the wall:
«Every day life offers a new opportunity to be happy. It's called: Today!»
Solitude, what is beauty for you?
For me, beauty is relative, that is to say, beauty is generally related to being pretty. For me it has nothing to do with that, beauty is a balance where each one of us feels good about ourselves. What may be beautiful for you may not be beautiful for me.
So that is what we try to do at Centros Q, to accompany each person who enters here to find themselves, to feel that balance, to feel comfortable with their body, with their spirit, with their energy. That is a little bit of our objective in this centre.
Why Q centres? Why that name?
Centros Q comes from “Q” for “quality”. It is that quality that we want to give, as well as closeness and human encouragement. We can find all that in the logo: a “Q” and a smile.
What were your motives and ideas that led you to set up your business?
We are three partners, entrepreneurs, adventurers (laughs). The main adventure has been to start this without having much knowledge of how to run a business. We simply had the idea and we took the plunge and we have been learning everything in the process.
We love adventure, we love doing new things. We like to take care of ourselves, we like to do sport.
We visualised the idea when we saw this place that was open and we said, well, there is a gym next door, there are people who take care of themselves... We thought we could help the people who pass through here with muscular care, with physiotherapy, aesthetically with their body, with laser treatment...
We said to ourselves, why can't you create a comprehensive treatment centre to address all these needs of both men and women and children, that is, at the family level. We have all these services, we have a supercoach who helps young children, teenagers, families; a sports coaching service...
We can say that we provide a service from head to toe.

What defines you best, what is your personal stamp?
Maybe the human service, the team. We try to be close. We are how we are seen, we want the client, when they enter the centre, to feel that they are at home, that they are comfortable, comfortable, relaxed... that they are able to disconnect. We help a lot to achieve this objective. We are as we are, helpful, approachable and willing.
What distinguishes you from your competitors?
We don't think much about competition. Competition is in oneself, competing to be better every day in order to be able to give our clients new services, new treatments.
Of course we are in the world, in a market where you always have to be updated because everything is evolving fast, day by day. Therefore, we must be constantly monitoring, researching, studying, looking for new things.
We are highly demanding because of the need to meet our customers' needs in the best possible way.
Undoubtedly, the healthiest and most creative thing is the competition that arises from oneself to improve, to build.
Why do you think your customers come back to you? What do they look for in you?
I would tell you to ask her (laughter) (pointing to client, both share an amused gesture) (PAUSE).
We have worked so that, when a person comes to our centre, they have energy, attention, warmth and closeness. As well as being able to count on good professionals.
For me, this is success, it means achieving our most prized objective: that when people come in they feel pampered, they feel that they are in a warm place, with friendly and cheerful people, that they come to disconnect and they really get it and that, in addition, they get results with the treatments we work with.
That is success for us.
What is the most beautiful thing about creating Q Centres?
To move forward. To be able to undertake a dream, to know that it can be fulfilled, to know that it is being fulfilled.
Our objective has always been to be able to move forward, to have a team of people like the one we have, to have a group of clients like the one we have, and the truth is that we couldn't be happier with the results.
