What is the capacitive diathermy?

It is the increase of temperature inside the tissues produced by the application of radiofrequency on the skin. The generation of heat is produced from the inside towards the surface.

The action of the radiofrequency emitted is concentrated on the surface and at medium depth, reducing the adipose layer and smoothing the orange peel skin. This treatment allows applications with greater intensity thanks to the dispersion of the heat generated.

How it works capacitive diathermy

The ability to produce an adequate tissue response depends not only on the electromagnetic waves we use, but also on the type of head used.

In capacitive diathermy, the heads or handpieces are coated with a biocompatible material that allows us to transfer the electromagnetic waves through the tissue, effectively and safely. As a result, the heat is transmitted to the softest and most vascularised tissues (skin and superficial musculature) which contain more water.

Advantages of the capacitive diathermy

The generation of selective heat stimulates fibroblasts and the production of collagen and elastin, resulting in a deep firming effect.
