Capacitive and resistive diathermy Innova

The aesthetic diathermy is an advanced technology used in facial, body and therapeutic treatments to improve skin quality, promote muscle recovery and alleviate various physical ailments.

Its professional application is based on the use of specific diathermy equipment, capable of working at different tissue depths by means of capacitive diathermy and resistive diathermy, adapting each session to the treatment objectives.

Controlled capacitive stimulation to improve the skin, activate collagen and boost surface circulation.

What is capacitive diathermy?

Capacitive Electrical Transfer (CAP) is one of the ways of applying these high-frequency electrical currents. which are so effective in a multitude of treatments. It consists of the transfer through electrodes, which in this case have an insulated coating that acts as a dielectric. The body itself acts as the second pole and the closing of the circuit is generated by the action of the return cathode. In this way, two phenomena occur:

The flow of current through living tissue.
Resistance of the elements to this electric charge.

As a result, the result is an increase in temperature and concentration of capacitive energy, which is transferred to the muscles and other tissue fluids that need to be acted upon. The effect is concentrated on the surface and at medium depth. The generation of selective heat stimulates fibroblasts and the production of collagen and elastin, achieving a deep firming effect.

In short, the action of the massage, together with the increase in temperature, acts on the subcutaneous fat, reactivating circulation and facilitating the elimination of fat and toxins. The apparent result? Healthier looking and healthier skin.

Energy that activates the tissue from the surface, stimulates collagen and restores firmness, circulation and vitality to the skin.

What is resistive diathermy?

Resistive Electrical Transfer (RES) differs from capacitive transfer basically in the types of electrodes used.. Or, rather, in how they are presented. In this case, asymmetrical metal electrodes are used, without insulation. We are therefore talking about the same technique but with a significantly different result, as it allows the current to be transferred directly with less dispersion. The aim? To achieve an increase in temperature, as in the case of capacitive diathermy, but at a greater depth.

The concentration of resistive energy focuses its action on all hard tissues, such as tendons, ligaments or bones, with the difference that the action is deep. This stimulates the exchange of intra- and extracellular ions, restoring electrical activity. At the same time, a natural repairing activity of the tissues is promoted in a totally safe way and indicated for acute and chronic pathologies. The approach is twofold: to relieve pain and inflammation and to speed up the tissue recovery process.

Professional capacitive and resistive diathermy devices for safe, effective treatments tailored to the needs of each clinic.

Capacitive and resistive diathermy devices for professional use

For capacitive and resistive diathermy treatments In order to be able to work with guarantees, it is essential to have equipment designed to work precisely on different types of fabrics. At INNOVAPRO we have specialised professional equipment that allows us to adapt each session to the aesthetic or therapeutic objectives, ensuring safety, efficacy and an optimal experience for the patient.

Diathermy C-10 Max

The Diathermy C-10 Max is a capacitive and resistive diathermy device designed for high-precision facial and body treatments. Its technology allows it to work selectively on superficial and deep tissues, favouring cell activation, improved circulation and the recovery of skin elasticity.

A versatile solution for centres that integrate diathermy into aesthetic and therapeutic protocols with visible results.

Diathermy Ionic T4 Pro

Designed for intensive clinical use, the Ionic T4 Pro stands out for its ability to apply capacitive and resistive diathermy in a controlled and comfortable way. It is particularly suitable for body and physiotherapy treatments, helping to improve firmness, relieve muscle tension and promote tissue regeneration.

Robust and reliable equipment, aimed at clinics that wish to expand services and optimise profitability per session.

Two complementary techniques that allow each treatment to be adapted to the depth of the tissue and to the aesthetic or therapeutic objectives.

Difference between capacitive and resistive diathermy

Capacitive diathermy and resistive diathermy are complementary techniques. which are applied depending on the objective of the treatment, the area to be treated and the depth of the tissue to be treated. While capacitive diathermy concentrates the energy mainly on the soft and superficial tissues, favouring muscle activation, circulation and aesthetic treatments, resistive diathermy makes it possible to reach deeper layers, acting more effectively on tendons, ligaments, joints and bone structures.

In aesthetics and physiotherapy, the combination of both modalities allows each session to be personalised, adapting the intensity and type of energy according to the patient's needs. This versatility makes capacitive and resistive diathermy an advanced solution for facial, body and therapeutic treatments, guaranteeing effective, safe and progressive results.

The perfect combination to make a difference.
We help you choose the most suitable capacitive and resistive diathermy equipment for your clinic and treatments.

When to use capacitive or resistive diathermy?

Capacitive diathermy is particularly suitable for soft and superficial tissues., It is widely used in muscle recovery processes, aesthetic treatments and to improve circulation. Resistive diathermy is used when it is necessary to work in depth, acting on tendons, ligaments, joints and bone structures.

In the field of aesthetics, both techniques allow treatments such as cellulite or flaccidity to be tackled with different levels of intensity, adapting to the degree of the condition and the needs of each patient. For this reason, it is ideal to have professional equipment capable of applying capacitive and resistive diathermy in combination, guaranteeing effective, comfortable and totally safe treatments.
