Removing hair by laser system was developed to get a total and permanent hair removal in the face and body. Main difference between removing hair by laser systems and other techniques of permanent hair removal is the higher effectiveness. Thanks to the application of light pulses, we can reach a total destruction of the hair follicle responsible for regenerating hair.

Body hair contains melanin, a biological pigment who gives it colour, and it has the capacity of absorbing light with different wavelengths.

This absorption takes an increasing a progressive temperature level which finally makes that, inside the hair follicle, it can reach temperatures from 65ºC to 75ºC, that provokes the follicle’s deactivation, and also, the hair’s definitive elimination.

Unlike other diode laser devices, our LED device system has a sophisticated system of refrigeration in the head, to have painless hair removal. Also, with our LED OMED system you will be able to eliminate the deepest and the lighter hair thanks to its characteristic wavelength.

Diode laser

This hair removal device uses a 808 nm wavelength

This is the most versatile technology; it uses a monochrome and unidirectional light. With that light, we can remove every kind of hair and all the skin phototype (from I to VI), but it is more indicated to the thickest and darkest types of hair.

Alexandrite laser

The Alexandrite device uses a laser with a wavelength of 755 nm

We can use it with phototypes from I to III, and it is efficient, mostly, with light skin and dark hair. It is not effective with dark and tanned skin. It can present pain and burn problems.

Ruby Laser

Hair removing Rubi laser system has a 695 nm wavelength.

It can be used only with phototypes I and II. It was one of the first laser removal technologies. It is very difficult to find because it is not very versatile or efficient.

Laser Nd-Yag

Device for removing hair with laser system, N-Yag can reach a 1064 nm wavelength

In beauty salons it is more common to use it to remove spider veins or varicose veins because removing hair with this technology is less effective than Alexandrite or diode lasers.

How diode laser technology works?

Diode Laser (DL) is also known as semiconductor or injection laser They produce a monochromatic and single-phase light that makes a luminous light with high precision and energy, or, saying in another way, high intensity, which it is generated when electricity goes through the bars made of conductors or semiconductor metals.

Traditionally, diode lasers have been the most popular and used ones in laser hair removal because they were the first ones that were able to be applied in most of the skin phototypes, from I to V, tanned skin and the thickest hair.

The laser emits light radiation that penetrates the skin without damaging it. Melamine absorbs light and produces heat
